The back is smooth to the touch and quite sterile, except for a small wave relief engraving of the Seiko logo along with some minimal prints. The drilled lugs make it easy to remove that original bracelet.

The indices are less bulky compared to previous versions but are still made with great precision highlighting meticulous attention to fine details including metallic framing around perfectly finished date wheel.

One truly outstanding feature here would be LumiBrite luminescence used by Seiko; always near peak quality but Marinemaster takes that to another level being truly superior flagship regarding lasting luminosity all night plus illuminated ceramic bezel up to twenty-minute marker.
