The CIGA Design Blue Planet II Atlantic (Ref: U039-SU01-W6U) is the watch that made history by winning the prestigious Challenge Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).
With a 46 mm stainless steel case and a spectacular 3D map of the Earth under a domed sapphire crystal, this model reinvents the way time is measured.
Its exclusive, patented CD-04-E automatic caliber uses Asynchronous Tracking technology, allowing the hour and minutes to be read on a single dynamic indicator.
- The central map of the Earth (which marks the hours) rotates only 30° every hour.
- The intermediate numeral ring (which marks the minutes) rotates 390° in the same amount of time.
- This mathematical offset is calculated so that the compass on the dial always points to the correct hour and minute simultaneously.
It features a comfortable blue fluoroelastomer strap with a double deployant clasp in stainless steel.
